On September 18, 2017, a deputy with Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 6100 block of East FM 1960 in reference to a crash involving 4 vehicles. Upon the deputy’s arrival he was advised that the female driver that caused the crash fled the scene on foot. Responding deputies located the suspect, identified as Savannah Keyes at a nearby parking lot. During the investigation it was discovered that the vehicle Keyes was operating was listed as stolen.

“Savannah Keyes was arrested and while transporting her to the Harris County Jail she continually and purposefully damaged the patrol vehicle, causing over $1,000.00 in damage. Her bond is set at $5,000.00 for the stolen vehicle out of the 209th District Court and her bond is not yet set for the Criminal Mischief to the patrol vehicle out of County Court 11.” – Constable Mark Herman

Someone needs to write a book titled "Criminal Etiquette For Dummies" and in the first paragraph it should read something like this..."Once you've been apprehended, shut your mouth, sit still, and call your lawyer and no matter what, don't damage police property or assault the officer. You're in enough trouble all ready." But nooooooo, these people always seem to have to make it worse by acting out foolishly. Book'em Dano.
