Two police unions in Florida are taking a stand against the Miami Dolphins over national anthem protests.

NFL players continued to protest during "The Star-Spangled Banner" on Thursday night as the league began the first full week of its 2018 preseason.

Two Dolphins players decided to kneel before their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, despite the controversy surrounding the action.

Broward County PBA Vice President Rod Skirvin told the Miami Herald that the action was a "slap in the face."

I go out of my way to have a friendly conversation with and officer when ever ones around, something I would NEVER do if the opportunity would arise (like last week on a flight to New Mexico)with an NFL player. What a bunch of unpatriotic loofs....

Everyone should boycott "ALL" the NFL games. These players are a bunch of loser scumbags. The get busted for dope, beat their wives and kids. They disrespect our country and our flag. They are paid to play football and no one wants to here or see their personal opinions on the field, They glory hounds looking for publicity at the fans expense. The word for this years season is "BOYCOTT".
