On 11-13-2017 at 12:38 P.M. Officers responded to the 600 block of S Main in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Courtney James (25 YOA female) who was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for theft of property. James was placed under arrest for the warrant. The warrant stemmed from a theft that was reported on 08-29-2017 where multiple items had been reported stolen from the 1700 block of S Church.
On 11-13-2017 at 9:24 P.M. Officers responded to a warrant arrest in the 3800 block of Lamar Ave. Officers made contact with Justin Sessums (28 YOA male) who was found to have two outstanding warrants out of Lamar County. The warrants were for motion to adjudicate guilt/forgery and evading arrest with a vehicle. Sessums was placed under arrest for the warrants.
On 11-13-2017 at 8:14 A.M. Officers responded to the 100 block of Clarksville in regards to a criminal mischief complaint. Officers were told that an unknown suspect had damaged three windows and one side of a van. The investigation is ongoing.
On 11-13-2017 at 6:39 P.M. Officers responded to the 3800 block of Lamar Ave in regards to a forgery complaint. Officers were told that an unknown black male in a white 4 door passenger car passed a counterfeit $100 bill. When confronted the suspect drove away. The investigation is ongoing.
Paris Police responded to 84 calls for service and arrested 3 persons over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 A.M. on November 14, 2017.
