Details:
On March 7th 2017, deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a residence located in the 21700 block of North Tangle Creek Drive to serve a felony warrant for Austin Hunter Mattern. Constable Deputies were informed of the warrant by Special Agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Mattern was spotted in the house but refused to come out or respond to deputies. With assistance from canine units, entry was made into the home and Mattern was taken into custody without incident.

“While clearing the residence for other suspects, deputies observed narcotics and drug paraphernalia in several areas throughout the home. An investigation revealed hidden narcotics being found to include marijuana, synthetic THC wax and other assorted paraphernalia. Mattern received his magistrate’s warning and was booked into Harris County Jail on felony charges of Possession of Marijuana and Manufacture of a Controlled Substance with a total bond of $100,000.00 for both charges.” – Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman
