On April 20, 2017, at approximately 10:00 am, League City Police arrested 41-year-old Erika Diebel for Intoxication Manslaughter W/Vehicle. The arrest came after the investigation of the April 6, 2017, accident that resulted in the death of 8-year-old Kelsey Nalepa. The investigation found that there was probable cause to believe that Diebel was intoxicated at the time of the accident.

 

Intoxication Manslaughter W/Vehicle is a second-degree felony. Bond was set at $100,000.

This release does not even say which car the victim was riding in. Who writes these things?

The crash happened around 5:50 p.m.

The victim was riding in the vehicle that Diebel crashed into.
