2-year old struck by Vehicle – May 14, 2017
 
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: May 17, 2017
 
Cleburne, TX – On May 14, 2017 at 11:24 am, the Cleburne Police Department and Cleburne Fire Department responded to the 700 block of Chase where a vehicle had struck a 2-year old child.  
 
Upon arrival, officers learned the child was struck by a vehicle driven by a family member. The child had critical injuries and was transported by Careflite Air to a Fort Worth hospital.  
 
UPDATE: May 17, 2017 Today, the Cleburne Police Department received notification from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office that the child, Raidyn Durgin (2 year old male, Cleburne), died on May 16, 2017 at a Fort Worth hospital. The Cleburne Police Department wishes to offer our condolences to the family during this difficult time.
 
The investigation is ongoing by Cleburne Police.
