 On 05-26-2018 at 5:06 A.M. Officers responded to the 800 block of Clement Road in regards to an intoxicated driver complaint. Officers made contact with Chadwick Wilson (41 YOA male) who was found to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Due to previous convictions, Wilson’s charge was enhanced to a felony offense. 

 
On 05-26-2018 at 3:03 P.M. Officers responded to the 2600 block of W Houston in regards to a welfare concern. Officers made contact with Bryant Burnett (29 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant and was placed under arrest. 

 
On 05-28-2018 at 6:50 P.M. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Plum and while investigating that incident, observed a person known to the officers to have an outstanding warrant. Officers made contact with David Anderson (19 YOA male) in the 200 block of Graham and found him to have an outstanding warrant for sexual assault of a child. Anderson was placed under arrest for the warrant and two misdemeanor charges. The warrant stemmed from an incident which was reported on 0505-2018 where it was alleged that Anderson had sexually assaulted a child under the age of 16.  

 
On 05-28-2018 at 9:58 P.M. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of NW 19th and as a result of the stop, made contact with Patricia Fisher (61 YOA female). Fisher was found to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Due to previous convictions, Fisher’s charge was enhanced to a felony offense. 

 
On 05-25-2018 at 9:20 A.M. Officers responded to the 600 block of NE 17th in regards to a burglary of a residence. It was reported that an unknown suspect had forced entry into the residence and took two televisions. The investigation is ongoing. 


 On 05-25-2018 at 12:48 P.M. Officers responded to the Booker T Washington Homes in regards to a burglary of a residence. It was reported that an unknown suspect had entered the complainant’s residence and took a purse. The investigation is ongoing. 

 
On 05-26-2018 at 6:36 P.M. Officers responded to the 400 block of NW 28th in regards to a theft of a firearm complaint. It was reported that an unknown suspect had taken two handguns from the complainant’s residence at an unknown time. The investigation is ongoing. 

 
On 05-28-2018 at 11:28 A.M. Officers responded to the police department in regards to a theft complaint which was said to have occurred in the 3400 block of Fargo Drive. It was reported that a possible known suspect had taken several items of jewelry from the complainant’s residence. The investigation is ongoing. 

 
On 05-28-2018 at 6:50 P.M. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Plum in regards to a disturbance. It was reported that a suspect had assaulted the complainant by striking the complainant in the head with a hammer causing minor injury. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. The investigation is ongoing.  

 
 Paris Police responded to 371 calls for service and arrested 18 persons over the three day holiday weekend ending at 6:00 A.M. on May 29, 2018.
