On 06-26-2018 at 7:26 A.M. Officers responded to the 2400 block of N Main in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Robert Smith (25 YOA male) who was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Lamar County for motion to proceed with adjudication of guilt/fraudulent use or possession of identifying information. Smith was placed under arrest for the warrant.
On 06-26-2018 at 11:23 A.M. Officers responded to the 2600 block of Lamar Ave in regards to a burglary of a vehicle. It was reported that an unknown suspect entered the complainant’s vehicle and took a handgun. The investigation is ongoing.
On 06-26-2018 at 7:27 P.M. Officers responded to the 500 block of Evergreen in regards to a burglary of a building. It was reported that an unknown suspect forced entry into the complainant’s storage building and took numerous items. The investigation is ongoing.
Paris Police responded to 84 calls for service and arrested 4 persons over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 A.M. on June 27, 2018.
