The CBS documentary/news magazine series, 48 Hours, will be airing an episode detailing the Jennifer Schuett abduction and attempted murder investigation.  In 1990, an 8-year old Schuett was abducted through her bedroom window in Dickinson, Texas.   Although she was sexually assaulted and left for dead in a field across town, Jennifer miraculously survived her attack.  Dickinson Police investigated the case for 19 years.  In 2009, Dickinson Police detectives working together with local FBI agents were able to identify Jennifer’s attacker and bring him to justice.

48 Hours has been working on this story since last summer and have been to the Dickinson area three times to film for this show.   The episode will feature interviews with Jennifer, former and current Dickinson detectives who worked on the case, FBI agents involved with the investigation, as well as doctors and nurses involved with Jennifer’s recovery over the years.

The episode is scheduled to air this coming Saturday, March 11, at 9:00 pm, on KHOU Channel 11.

Comments:
Be aware that there is a basketball tournament that's supposed to get over at 7p. We all know that these usually go over so program start times may be off. Going to set my DVR!
