NNO Kick Off Party Cancellation Update (10-01-2021):
It is with deep regret the decision has been made to cancel this year’s National Night Out Kick Off event due to the uncertainty of the impending weather expected for Saturday, October 2nd. This annual event is one of the Copperas Cove Police Department’s favorite and we look forward to planning and bringing the event back in 2022. Neighborhood Block Parties for October 5th are still being scheduled – registration forms can be attained from Lt. Kevin Miller at 254-547-8222 ext. 6956 or email@example.com, picked up at the Copperas Cove Police Department, or downloaded from the City Website at www.copperascovetx.gov. Any further questions can be directed to Lt. Kevin Miller. Thank you and our apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation might cause.
Neighborhood Block Parties
The “38th” Annual National Night Out” (NNO) has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 6pm to 9pm. The Copperas Cove Police Department cordially invites all neighborhoods in Copperas Cove to be part of our NATIONAL NIGHT OUT 2021 team, designed to: (1) heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2) generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs; (3) strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership; and (4) send a message to the criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. We are asking residents in neighborhoods to lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and spend the evening outside with neighbors and police. Suggestions for outdoor functions include, but are not limited to: block parties, cookouts, flashlight walks, contests, youth activities and anti-crime and drug rallies.
Block party registration forms can be obtained by contacting Lt. Kevin Miller at 254-547-8222 ext. 6956 or firstname.lastname@example.org, picked up at the Copperas Cove Police Department, or downloaded from the City Website at www.copperascovetx.gov. Any further questions can be directed to Lt. Kevin Miller.
