Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1:54pm; Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block SE 15th Street in reference to a disturbance. Miranda Thomas was found to have an outstanding warrant out of the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office for Felony Bond Forfeiture Possession Controlled Substance. Thomas was arrested and booked into the Paris Police Department jail and later transferred to the Lamar County jail.
Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 5:32pm; Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of North Main Street in reference to a report of a stolen vehicle that was left at the location for repair. Police are looking for the stolen 2007 Silver Lexus. The Paris Police Department and Northeast Texas Auto Theft Taskforce are continuing investigation into the incident.
Friday, December 3, 2021 at 3:33am; Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Cleveland Street in reference to a report that a vehicle had driven into a residence and that a subject had been assaulted. Contact was made with the victim of the assault, who advised that the damage to the residence had occurred at an earlier time and was unrelated to today’s assault. The victim refused any medical assistance. The suspect had left the scene and has not been located. A recent prior assault report involving the same parties resulted in filing an offense of Continuous Violence against the Family. The same offense was filed and will be investigated for today’s assault.
Thursday, December 2, 2021; the Paris Police Department responded to 81 calls for service made 3 adult arrest.
