Dickinson
DICKINSON, Texas (KTRK) -- Two children were inside a Dickinson home
when a man and a woman were shot Sunday night, according to police.
The shooting happened around 8:15 p.m. at a home in the 1200 block of Pin Oak Drive.
Dickinson police said one man is in custody after the double shooting.
It was unclear who the suspect is or what exactly led up to the shooting.
When
police arrived at the home, officers found a man with a gunshot wound
in the stomach, and a woman with a gunshot wound in the arm.
They were both transported to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Hospital for treatment.
The alleged shooter didn't get away. Police said he was held at gunpoint by neighbors until officers arrived.
"The
subject was detained without incident," Officer Ricky Valdez said. "The
condition of the male and female is unknown at this time."
Police
said there were two children inside the home during the shooting. They
were not hurt and are now in the custody of their grandparents.
Investigators did not say how the suspect is related to the victims, or if he knows them at all.
