A 25-year-old man was shot and killed early Sunday morning outside a bar on Interstate 45, according to the La Marque Police Department.

The shooting happened about 1:45 a.m. outside the Pig Pen bar, 5309 Interstate 45, according to the police department.

When officers arrived, they found the man dead outside the bar, according to the police department. 

On Sunday afternoon, police identified the victim as Tevon Hubbard, 25, of La Marque.

Police said they questioned a 31-year-old man in relation to the shooting, but didn't immediately file charges against him. Evidence about the shooting will be presented a grand jury to determine if charges should be filed, police said. 

Police have collected video from the bar and interviewed witnesses.

Police asked anyone with information about the shooting to call investigators at 409-938-9234.
