Apr. 25 (5:23 p.m.) A vehicle was stolen from in front of a business in the 300 block of W. Parkwood Avenue.  The white 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe had Texas license plate JMR1676 attached. The vehicle was last seen at 1:00 p.m.  Th vehicle was recovered the same day in Houston.
 
Apr. 27 (4:19 p.m.) A member of the Sanctuary Gym, located at 133 W. Parkwood Avenue, reported the theft of three rings.  The theft occurred between 10:10 a.m. and 10:50 a.m.  Personal items, including the rings, were left in a property cubby.  When the victim noticed that her rings were missing, she contacted management at the gym, who were in possession of two of the rings; however, the third ring was still missing.
 
Apr. 29 (8:19 a.m.) A theft of a firearm was reported in the 1800 block of Coronado Street.  The victim last saw the firearm on April 21^st.
 
Apr. 29 (10:27 p.m.) A theft of a wallet was reported at Krogers located at 3135 FM 528. The victim was checking out at a register and set his wallet down on a table near the doors.  He walked out the doors, but returned quickly to retrieve his wallet; however, a Hispanic male and female approached the wallet on the table. The Hispanic female grabbed the wallet and put it in her cart before leaving the store.
 
Fraud
 
Apr. 26 (8:39 a.m.) A Friendswood man received an email regarding a new Chime bank account.  He received a second email changing the password to the account. After a reply email stating that he did not open an account, the account was closed.
 
Apr. 26 (6:31 p.m.) A Friendswood woman received an email about a bitcoin transaction that was completed using her PayPal account. The email was a phishing email to obtain the victim’s account information. The woman called a phone number on the email and provided them with financial account information to get a refund.  Instead, they drained her accounts.
 
Apr. 27 (10:40 a.m.) A Friendswood resident has been receiving emails from various credit card companies and believed the email was just junk.  Then, on April 27^th, he received a letter and a new credit card that he had not applied for. When the victim contacted the credit card company, he was told that he also had a savings account that was opened using his personal identifying information. The victim recently had his vehicle stolen with his personal identifying information left inside.
 
Apr. 30 (3:32 p.m.) A Friendswood man’s credit card was fraudulently used to purchase grocery items using his daughter’s Walmart account. 
 
Criminal Mischief
 
Apr. 28 (8:27 a.m.) A window was shot out with a bb gun in the 16900 block of Barcelona Drive.  The victim observed his neighbor shooting a bb gun in the backyard just prior to finding the broken window.
 
Apr. 29 (10:07 p.m.) Linda Lee Goeman, 63, of Houston, was charged with Criminal Mischief. Goeman arrived at the Huntington Woods Apartments, located at 701 S. Friendswood Drive.  She was honking the horn of her vehicle and trying to get the attention of her ex-husband.  When the honking did not produce results, she broke a window to the apartment using her cell phone.
 
Assault
 
Apr. 27 (11:24 a.m.) A homeowner in the 1600 block of White Wing Circle is accused of assaulting a contractor. They were in the middle of a dispute over work being completed at the home.  A citation was issued to the homeowner and a criminal trespass warning was given to the contractor.
 
Apr. 30 (2:28 a.m.) Matthew Joseph Spell, 27, of Friendswood, was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Public Intoxication. Spell went to his neighbor’s home, started banging on the door, and threatened them with a gun.  When police arrived, Spell was intoxicated and still holding the gun.
 
May 2 (12:09 a.m.) Guillermo Miranda, 48, of Friendswood, was charged with Assault by Contact-Family Violence. Miranda is accused of assaulting his wife at their home in the 3000 block of Autumn Harvest Drive.  She and her children fled the residence and called police.  Miranda was later stopped in the 3200 block of W. Bay Area Blvd.
 
Narcotics
 
Apr. 27 (10:37 a.m.) Rafael Hernandez Ortiz Ramos, 33, of Spring, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 3.  Ortiz Ramos was stopped for speeding in the 600 block of S. Friendswood Drive. Ortiz Ramos presented as very nervous and was asked to exit the vehicle. The officer asked Ortiz Ramos if he had anything illegal inside the vehicle.  He claimed to have a marijuana joint.  The officer conducted a search and found the joint, but also found Xanax.
 
Driving While Intoxicated
 
Apr. 29 (2:08 a.m.) Stephen Don Ismajli, 23, of Friendswood, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated in the 1700 block of Desota Drive.  Ismajli was stopped for speeding in the center turn lane on W. Parkwood Avenue.  He exhibited signs of intoxication and failed a field sobriety test,
 
Weapons
 
May 1 (3:28 a.m.) April Alguire Hobartsch, 54, of Houston, was charged with Unlawful Carrying Weapons. Carlos Federico Zamora, 59, of League City, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hobartsch was stopped for speeding in the 2100 block of S. Friendswood Drive. During the contact, the officer detected the smell of marijuana. The passenger, Zamora, was in possession of a marijuana cigarette. Inside the vehicle, the officer found marijuana, methamphetamine residue, a THC vape cartridge, and a gun.
 
Traffic
 
May 2 (2:03 a.m.) Byron Antonio Guoron-Scocop, 30, of Webster, was charged with No Driver’s License. Guoron-Scocop was stopped for a license plate violation in the 2100 block of W. Parkwood Avenue. He did not have a driver’s license and could only provide a Guatemalan identification card.
 
Warrants
 
Apr. 28 (3:20 p.m.) Mallory Annmarie Scanlin, 17, of Sugarland, was charged with Failure to Identify-Fugitive from Justice.  Scanlin was stopped in the 100 block of W. Shadowbend Avenue.  She was driving a vehicle with temporary license plates and a registration sticker.  Scanlin told the police officer that she had just purchased the vehicle, did not have insurance, and did not have a Texas driver’s license. During the contact, the officer detected the smell of marijuana. Scanlin and her passenger exited the vehicle for a search.  The officer found marijuana residue, a marijuana cigarette, and four nicotine vapes. Once in custody, Scanlin confessed to her identity and told the officer that she had outstanding warrants.  Scanlin had an outstanding Brazoria County warrant.
