Paris Police responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Hubbard St at 11:08 A.M. on May 19, 2022. When officers arrived, they found an 18 year old man laying in the road that had been shot multiple times. The victim was transported to PRMC for treatment. Witnesses reported seeing two black males running from the scene just after the shooting. The male juvenile suspect has been identified but not located. The investigation continues.

Paris Police responded to a theft in the 500 block of SE 10th St at 4:46 P.M. on May 19, 2022. The victims reported that someone had entered their carport and had stolen a push type law mower, a leaf blower and a set of aluminum ramps. The victims had captured the suspect on a surveillance camera. The suspect has been identified and has at least two prior convictions for theft. The investigation continues and officers are seeking a warrant for the arrest of the suspect.

Paris Police responded to 76 calls for service and arrested 5 persons on May 19, 2022.
