According to Gallup’s recent annual Crime poll, 32% of Americans say that substance misuse has been a problem in their family. This is a big increase from previous years.
Reports
of family drug problems have increased across all demographic groups,
reflecting the widespread nature of the national opioid crisis. However,
Americans living in rural areas as well as those in high-income
households saw the biggest increases.
