  • GALVESTON

    A 17-year-old Galveston man and three younger teens were arrested Friday night after a shooting near 34th Street.

    Galveston police responded to a shots fired call just after 10 p.m. near the intersection of 34th Street and Avenue L.

    Officers found a firearm and shell casings at the scene and found another firearm farther down 34th Street, police Sgt. Derek Gaspard said.

    The four were arrested outside a house on 33rd Street and Avenue K by officers who allege they hiding near the scene with a firearm in their possession, Gaspard said. 

    All four were charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon, police said. 

    Nobody was injured in the shooting, police said.
