Paris Police responded to a shooting in the 1200 block of NE 20th St at 1:40 P.M. on
November 2, 2022. Officers arrived and found a 19 year old male in the parking lot with a
gunshot wound to his leg. Officers then made contact with a 21 year old male who advised
that he had shot the 19 year old because the 19 year old had kicked in the front door of the
21 year olds apartment. The 19 year old male was then transported to PRMC for treatment.
The 19 year old is in stable condition and was admitted for observation. No arrest has been
made at this time. The incident is under investigation.

At 5:09 P.M. on November 2, 2022, Paris Police initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in

warrant, a bond surrender warrant on a felony theft case, and two felony theft warrants.
The two case warrants stem from reports where Christopher had sold a camper trailer to

retrieve it. Christopher was arrested and booked and later placed in the Lamar County Jail.
