Retired
Police Officer Charles E. Butler passed away on Saturday, November 19,
2022, at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty J.
Butler. He was a Veteran of the United
States Army. He joined the Houston Police Department on April 28, 1958,
Academy Class #18. During his tenure with the department, he was
assigned to the Patrol Bureau, Jail Division, and Northeast Division.
Police Officer Butler retired on July 30, 1978.

A Memorial Service will be held at Central Baptist Church, 102 North 7th Street, Crockett, Texas 75835 (936) 544-3677, on Saturday, November 26, 2022, starting at 2:00
