Jaboskey Garrett, 48,
of Lufkin, was arrested around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday following a Monday
night incident in which he shot his son, 30-year-old Travoskey Garrett.
The shooting happened
around 9:30 p.m. Monday, following a disturbance between the two at
their home in the 100 block of Persimmon Street.
Travoskey Garrett was
taken to a local hospital by private vehicle following the incident. His
injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Jaboskey Garrett is
charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. As of 5 p.m.
Tuesday, he was awaiting book-in at the Angelina County Jail.
