Johnson County Deputy Bill Hardin – Facebook Photo

The world’s oldest active law enforcement officer passed away Friday at 99. Johnson County Deputy Sheriff Bill Hardin began his career as a police officer in Fort Worth in 1947 and then worked for the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office before spending the last 28 years at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
