Richard S. Fischer passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the age of 74. Officer Fischer joined the Houston Police Department on August 26, 1968, Academy Class #39. During his entire tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Traffic & Accident Division until his retirement on January 25, 1991.

 

The body is entrusted with Knesek & Sons Funeral Home, 122 North 1st Street, Wallis, Texas 77485 (979) 478-6311.

 

A Visitation will be held before the Funeral Service at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, 5610 Demel Street, Wallis, Texas 77485 (979) 478-6532 on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Service will commence at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, 3900 B. F. Terry Boulevard, Rosenberg, Texas 77471 (281) 341-8800, commencing at 2:00 p.m.
