Retired Sergeant Michael L. Cox passed away on Monday, July
17, 2023, at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Judy I. Rhodes.
Sergeant Cox joined the Houston Police Department on November 16, 1970, Academy
Class #47. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the
Traffic and Accident Division, Community Services Division, Southwest Division,
Employment Services Division and the Traffic Enforcement Division until his
retirement on September 25, 2004.
