On December 10, 2017, Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 20300 block of Yosemite Falls Drive.  Arriving deputies detained a male that was walking house to house within the subdivision knocking on doors. The male, identified as Lance McClendon, according to a witness had identified himself as a Police Officer.  McClendon also displayed his passport to the witness, claiming that it was his police identification.


Lance McClendon was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail, charged with a 3rd degree Felony for Impersonation of a Public Servant. His bond is set at $5,000.00 out of the 351st District Court.


“We urge our citizens to contact law enforcement if they have suspicions of a suspect impersonating a Police officer.” -Constable Mark Herman
