Frederick Dexter, an admirable and honorable man, died on February 6, 2018, at the age of 75. 

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Chris, his children and their spouses: Terri & Mark, Jim, Wayne & Tracy, Kim & Steve, Stephanie, Tiffanie & Rob, and 11 grandchildren: Justin, Christian, Lauren, Nicole, Ryan, Matthew, Jake, Dora, Karmalena, Abby, and Brynlee. 

Fred dedicated his career to law enforcement.  His tenure began with the Connecticut State Police, included years with the Ogden Police Department and 25 years with the Houston Police Department. 

During his “retirement”, he enjoyed working at Clear Lake Regional Hospital, where once again he made a positive impact on people’s lives. 

Fred was kind to all, loved to share laughter with his friends and family, and lived every day to the best of his ability.  He will be forever missed.

The family will receive guests from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster, Texas.
