At approximately 2:05 a.m., on October 16, 2018, League City Police responded to a fatality accident in the 2300 block of east. FM.646. The 39-year-old male driver of a motorcycle was traveling westbound when he lost control of the bike and crashed, landing in the eastbound lane.

While on the ground, the rider was struck and killed by a passenger vehicle traveling eastbound in the eastbound lane. The driver of the vehicle did not stop, continuing east on FM 646. A witness described the vehicle as a dark green SUV, possibly an Oldsmobile, with dark tinted windows.

The victim has been positively identified; although, authorities are withholding his name pending next of kin notifications.

Police are asking that anyone with information on the owner or driver of the vehicle call LCPD Sgt. Troy McGee at  281-338-8232.
