Investigation into Shooting Incident at 9100 Mills Road


Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male that occurred at 9100 Mills Road at 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 9).

The victim, 17, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to both legs and was transported to an area hospital.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Barker and M. Combs reported:

The victim stated he was walking from 9100 Mills Road to 8300 Willow Place Drive through a field when an unknown suspect wearing a black jacket with white lettering on it ran toward him.  The suspect pointed a pistol in the victim's direction and began shooting at him.  The victim then ran home and his mother called the police.  The victim stated he believes he has enemies in the area.
