In February 2019, investigators with Constable Mark Herman's Office received a DNA match from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Science that linked a male suspect, Peter Rodriguez to an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar Store located in the 2300 block of Aldine Westfield back in September 2017.

Constable Deputies collected DNA evidence at the scene where Peter Rodriguez and two additional unknown black male suspects entered the business, displayed a handgun, forced witness' and employees onto the ground and stole $400.00 in cash, several cartons of cigarettes, and a witness's cell phone.

Constable Investigators were able to locate a witness from the 2017 case who positively identified Peter Rodriguez through a photo spread as one of the suspects. Peter Rodriguez was also observed on video surveillance from the store as being one of individuals who committed the robbery.

His DNA was also matched to a previous Burglary of a Habitation case.  "Peter Rodriguez is currently wanted by law enforcement for Aggravated Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.

He received No Bond out of the 228th District Court. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, you are urged to contact our dispatch at 281-376-3472 or your local law enforcement."-Constable Mark Herman
