Up to $5,000 Cash Reward

 

(HOUSTON, TX) - The FBI Violent Crime Task Force needs the public’s help identifying and locating a man who robbed the same Houston bank twice, once on February 23 and again on March 13, 2019. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the robber. 

 

The first robbery occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Chartway Federal Credit Union located at 4373 FM 1960 in north Houston, TX. The second robbery occurred at approximately 12:34 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

 

In both robberies, the suspect entered the Chartway Federal Credit Union, waited in line, approached the counter, and handed the teller a threatening note demanding cash. Both times, the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was physically hurt during either robbery.

 

The suspect is described as a white, skinny male, approximately 5’7” tall, with black chin-length hair. In the first robbery, he wore a black jacket with blue sleeves and a black baseball cap. During the second robbery, the suspect wore a black hooded sweatshirt, prescription glasses, an army green “newsie” style hat, and khaki pants. During both robberies, the suspect carried a grey laptop carrying case.
