On June 01, 2019, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office observed a known male, Chadwick Simon, who had an open felony warrant, walking in an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Hirschfield Road.

The Deputy observed the suspect enter into an apartment. Constable Deputies knocked on the door and a female answered the door. Deputies advised the female that Chadwick Simon, a wanted felon, was just seen entering the apartment.

The female stated that he was not on location and stood in the doorway of the apartment in attempt to prevent deputies from apprehending him.  After a brief struggle, she was detained and identified as Chandra Haggerty. Deputies made entry to the residence and found Chadwick Simon hiding in the restroom.

"Chadwick Simon and Chandra Haggerty were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Chadwick was booked in on the Aggravated Assault warrant.

He received No Bond out of the 183rd District Court. Chandra Haggerty was charged with Hindering Apprehension.

Her bond was set at $2,500.00 out of the 180th District Court."                              - Constable Mark Herman
