Up to $5,000 Cash Reward
 
(HOUSTON, TX) - The FBI Violent Crime Task Force needs the public’s help identifying and locating a man who robbed a Capitol One Bank in Houston on June 5, 2019. Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the robber.   
 
The robbery occurred at approximately 9:05 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Capitol One Bank located at 11408 Gulf Freeway in southeast Houston, TX.
 
The suspect entered the Capitol One Bank dressed as a security guard armed with a pistol. Once inside the bank, he ordered bank employees to lay on the lobby floor at gunpoint. He then made verbal demands for money from the tellers, and threatened to shoot if they did not comply. The suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash in a white envelope. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.
 
The robber is described as a black male in his late 40s or early 50s, approximately 5’9” tall, with a thin build. During the robbery, he wore a black long-sleeved shirt with a gold badge emblem, khaki pants, a black bandana tied around his head, and a black baseball cap which had “Security” written on the front.
