On June 14, 2019, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 27400 block of Aldine Westfield Road in reference to a reckless driver failing to maintain lanes and driving into oncoming traffic.

Constable Deputies located and stopped the vehicle in the 22100 block of Rockgate Drive and identified the driver as Johnny Alvarez, who displayed several signs of intoxication. His thirteen and sixteen year old sons were also in the vehicle.

Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was discovered that he was driving while intoxicated. The children were released to a guardian at the location.
"Johnny Alvarez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger. His bond was set at $10,000.00 out of the 180th District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
