Cedar Park Investigating Shooting Death

At approximately 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019, Cedar Park Police officers were dispatched to a call for a shooting incident at the intersection of East Whitestone and 183A.

Upon arrival, a Hispanic male passenger in his twenties was found deceased on scene inside the vehicle. The driver, a Hispanic male in his forties was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

 The suspect vehicle left the scene.

This remains an active, ongoing investigation. While we do not believe there is any immediate danger to the public, we ask that our community members be aware and vigilant and report any information surrounding this incident to Lt. Larry Bond at 512-260-4766.
