Copperas Cove, Texas – The City of Copperas Cove is accepting applications to fill positions on the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee. Position vacancies include one animal welfare organization representative and one resident representative. The purpose of the City Council Appointed Advisory Body is to evaluate the animal shelter located within the City limits for compliance with State statutes. The advisory body consists of five members, appointed to two year terms each, and meets a minimum of three times per year.

 

Applications are available at 914 South Main Street, Suite D, or on the City website, www.copperascovetx.gov under “Forms and Applications”. The position vacancies will be advertised through October 11, 2019. Completed applications must be submitted to the office of the City Secretary by the submittal deadline, October 21, 2019 at 5pm for consideration.
