Brian Rainwater avoided detection for years after police discovered a woman brutally raped and murdered inside of her California apartment. But after finally being caught and spending the last 10 years behind bars, he’s about to be a free man.

"Officials have said that part of the reason for Rainwater’s early release stems from a state statute aimed at reducing prison populations"

Well, this is a sure fire way at reducing the people population in society. California has more compassion for killers, toads, and lizards than they do unborn children. What a messed up State.....

He should never be freed. When rapists and murders ...in this case both! Get captured they should never be permitted to have another opportunity to rape and murder another.ever. this justice system should be ashamed and held accountable for allowing this and giving him another chance to do this. 10-15 years ....these poor parents! Shameful!!!!
