Nueces County Sheriff's Office investigators believe Castillo was one of six men who invaded a couple's home outside of Corpus Christi city limits on April 2 and killed both of them while the couple's teenage son hid in the bathroom.

The suspects believed the home had stolen drugs and up to $400,000 in cash inside, according to the Caller-Times.

Investigators believe Castillo is also responsible for fatally shooting a 19-year-old man on March 14 in Corpus Christi. He had been on the run until his capture Wednesday.
