On Saturday, July 25, 2020 around 9 p.m., Hurst police and EMS responded to a shooting call at the Whispering Run Apartments at 600 Bellaire Drive.

A man had been shot and killed in an apartment, and the suspected shooter had fled to an adjacent apartment. 

After a period of negotiations, the man surrendered to police. 

Police are interviewing witnesses and the scene is being processed. 

More information about the victim and suspect should become available as the investigation continues.
