Retired Sergeant Donald L. Martin passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the age of 86. He is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He joined the Houston Police Department on September 16, 1957, Academy Class #17. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Central, Homicide, Major Offenders, and Burglary and Theft Divisions. Sergeant Martin retired on June 11, 1994.

 

The body is entrusted with Conroe Funeral Directors, 1504 North Thompson Street, Conroe, Texas 77301 (936) 756-2210.

 

A Graveside Service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038 (281) 447-8686, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, gate time 10:45 a.m.
