Suspects may be linked to other regional crimes
On Wednesday, December 28, 2022 around 10:30 a.m., Cedar Park Police Department received a call of a
robbery that just occurred, at Texaco (1050 Cluck Creek Trail).

Initial reports stated the victim had just come from the bank, when someone attacked him, took the money
and drove away.

Based on information gathered at the scene by Officers and Detectives, it appeared two vehicles and multiple
suspects were involved in the incident.

We quickly advised surrounding agencies of the vehicle descriptions and license plate numbers. A short while
later, Fayette County Sheriff’s Office notified us they had located both suspect vehicles traveling on Highway
71 near La Grange. Fayette County Deputies and La Grange Police Officers conducted felony traffic stops on
both vehicles and the suspects were detained.

A large amount of cash was found inside the vehicles along with equipment used for surveillance.

The suspects are:

John Carter
Roderick Glenn
Shawn Johnson
Rodney Wilson

All four are from the Houston area and are charged with Engaging in Organized Crime with Robbery, a first-
degree felony. In working with surrounding agencies, it appears these suspects may also be responsible for
several juggings/robberies in the Austin area as well.
