Congratulations to our very own Lieutenant George Beck who was announced as the January 2019 Officer of the Month today at the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce.

In April 2018, while reviewing reports, Lieutenant Beck noticed a pattern involving the same suspect stealing from local retails stores. He spent the next several months following leads and was able to uncover a large theft ring.

During his investigation, Lieutenant Beck was also able to uncover a fencing operation that received and sold the stolen property. In conclusion, Lieutenant Beck recovered over $150,000.00 worth of stolen property which will be returned to the retail stores, in addition to arresting several high profile criminals.

Lieutenant Beck is commended for his diligence in handling this investigation and ensuring that the individual responsible for this activity was brought to justice.
