Retired Police Officer Charles E. Butler passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the age of 88. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty J. Butler. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He joined the Houston Police Department on April 28, 1958, Academy Class #18. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Patrol Bureau, Jail Division, and Northeast Division. Police Officer Butler retired on July 30, 1978.

 

The body is entrusted with Callaway-Allee Funeral Home, 700 East Houston Avenue, Crockett, Texas 75835 (936) 544-2244.

 

A Memorial Service will be held at Central Baptist Church, 102 North 7th Street, Crockett, Texas 75835 (936) 544-3677, on Saturday, November 26, 2022, starting at 2:00 p.m.
