Senior Police Officer Shidong Qian, assigned to the Midwest
Division, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the age of 38. He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Qian Yang. He was a Veteran of the United States
Army. He joined the Houston Police Department on March 21, 2011, Academy Class
#210. During his tenure with the department, he was also assigned to Clear Lake
and Northeast Divisions.

Visitation will be held at Settegast-Kopf Company at Sugar Creek on Thursday,
October 26, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Friday, October 27, 2023, commencing at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be held at Houston National Cemetery, 10410
