Retired Senior Police Officer John W. Hadnot passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bridgette Hadnot. Officer Hadnot, who was also a Veteran of the United States Army, joined the Houston Police Department on November 9, 1992, Academy Class #151. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the South Central Division, Southwest Division, Juvenile Division and the Criminal Investigations Command until his retirement on June 26, 2021.

 

The body is entrusted with American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038 (281) 445-0050.

 

A visitation will be held before the funeral service at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, 3826 Wheeler Avenue, Houston, Texas 77004 (713) 748-5240 on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038 (281) 447-8686.
