On February 2, 2019, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 12500 block of Ridgelow Drive in reference to an accident involving two vehicles.

Prior to deputies arriving, they received information that four male suspects involved in the crash fled from the scene on foot. Responding deputies were able to obtain a description of the suspects and quickly located and detained three suspects, identified as Roger Jones and two juveniles.  
The fourth suspect was seen fleeing towards FM 1960 on foot.

Constable Deputies set a police perimeter and a Constable K-9 was able to track the suspect to an apartment complex in the 9900 block of FM 1960. The suspect was detained an identified as a juvenile.   

Further investigation revealed that the suspects were involved in an attempted aggravated robbery with the intent to take a victim's vehicle by force. It was also discovered that the vehicle the suspects were in when the accident occurred was stolen from a victim on February 1, 2019. 

"Roger Jones was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with two counts of Aggravated Robbery.

He received No Bond out of the 177th District Court. The three juveniles were arrested and booked into the Harris county Detention Center, charged with Aggravated Robbery." - Constable Mark Herman
