On January 25, 2019, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 21000 block of Brushy Glen Drive in reference to three young children ages two, seven and ten left home alone.

Upon deputies arriving, it was discovered that the children were left unsupervised for hours without food and the two year old child was found to be wearing a soiled diaper full of feces.   

Constable Deputies attempted to contact the children's mother, Lily Martinez but received no answer. She then contacted her oldest child and advised she would be home soon. After a few hours, Lily Martinez still did not return home.

Deputies were able to make contact with the father who arrived on scene from work and stated he was not aware the children were left unsupervised.    Child Protective Services were contacted and informed details of this case. The children were released to their father.   

"Lily Martinez is currently wanted by law enforcement for Abandoning/Endangering a Child without Intent to Return.

She received No Bond out of the 208th District Court."-Constable Mark Herman
