I wanted to bring Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter’s “Save us September” campaign to your attention.

This month all adoptions are ONLY $20 and include spay/neuter surgery, initial vaccination(s), deworming, microchip, & voucher for a free wellness exam at a local vet clinic.

Lufkin-based SG Photography took some great photos of adoptable dogs with our first responders last week to help promote the effort. You can check out those photos here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/81fxqw07fi3ggxomymn4z/h?rlkey=of62pyqhv8an2y76hwx59xcwg&dl=0. We would like to thank SG Photography for donating her time and skills to the cause.

You can visit adoptable pets from 12-5 p.m. Tuesday thru Saturday at 1901 Hill St. or see them online at Find and Adopt a Pet Near You | Petco Love. If you can’t adopt at this time, but would still like to help out, we also have a foster program. More information is available on the foster program here: Animal Services Agreement and Standard Operating Procedures for Animal Fosters - Formstack

Thanks,
