Luke Michael Starling, 18, of Friendswood is currently booked into the Galveston County Jail in connection with the murder of Christopher Todd Starling, whose remains were found on the afternoon of September 12, 2022, in his residence in the 400 block of Oak Vista Drive.
 
Starling was booked into the Galveston County Jail on the evening of September 19, 2022. He was arrested at approximately 7:30 pm, on September 16, 2022, near Hwy 190 in Lampasas County for a warrant relating to a charge of Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon issued out of Harris County.
 
Starling was transported to the Galveston County Jail and charged with Murder.  His bond was set at $250,000.
