ABC13 Live Coverage: Shelter-in-place order issued for La Porte residents

LA PORTE, Texas (KTRK) -- A chemical incident at a facility in La Porte prompted an evacuation of employees and a shelter-in-place order Wednesday for parts of the area.

The shelter-in-place order impacts residents east of 13300 Bay Area Boulevard. If you're in the area, you need to go inside immediately and turn off air conditioners until further notice.
