Retired Senior Police Officer Gary W. “Beetle” Bailey passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the age of 72. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marianne Bailey. Officer Bailey joined the Houston Police Department on October 6, 1969, Academy Class #42. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Northeast and Kingwood Divisions until his retirement on May 10, 2008.

 

The body is entrusted with Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 South Houston Avenue, Humble, Texas 77396 (281) 441-2171.

 

A visitation will be held before the funeral service at Rosewood Funeral Home on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park Cemetery, 2602 South Houston Avenue, Humble, Texas 77396 (281) 441-2171.
