Retired Police Officer Floyd L. Nettles passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the age of 87. Officer Nettles joined the Houston Police Department on April 28, 1958, Academy Class #18. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Identification, Office of Technology Services, and Special Operations Divisions until his retirement on January 1, 1991.

 

The body is entrusted with Bradshaw Carter Funeral Home, 1734 West Alabama Street, Houston, Texas 77098 (713) 521-0066.

 

A Visitation will be held before the Funeral Service at Cochran Funeral Home, 406 North Yaupon Avenue, Livingston, Texas 77351 (936) 327-2158 on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will commence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Carmona Cemetery, 5900 Highway 287, Corrigan, Texas 75939.
